We are proud of another successful year of supporting students in the last year of their Bachelor’s degree in “Computer Systems and Technologies” and “Software Information Technologies” at TU Varna. With a focus on hands-on learning, Adastra continues to contribute to the development of the next generation of talents.

Approximately 60 students have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in practical and laboratory exercises structured as project development initiatives. This approach supports the equipping of students with the practical skills necessary to thrive in the dynamic field of data engineering technology.

These projects focused on various industries, including automotive, insurance, retail, tourism, e-commerce, and entertainment. By engaging with real-world applications in these sectors, students gained an understanding of how technology interact and transforms different industries.

At the heart of the program was the provision of mentors for each student, ensuring the guidance throughout the project development process. These mentors, that are senior consultants and professionals in their fields, played an important role in navigating the students through the challenges of their projects. Furthermore, students were organized into groups, each led by a mentor that facilitate a collaborative learning environment.

Through this initiative, we remain committed to guiding the tech leaders of the future, ensuring an appropriate transition from academic to the professional world. All students successfully completed their practical training in January 2024.
