Dani, you came to Adastra with deep expertise in planning, designing, and developing software solutions in the .NET field. Could you tell us what were your motivators for changing this focus?
The most powerful motivator for me was the curiosity for developing myself in a new technology. I started my journey as a Delphi programmer, continued as a .NET developer and evolved to designing, planning, and developing an ASP.NET application. Having achieved some sufficient expertise, I decided to look for new horizons and a new challenge and this led me to Adastra.
How does it feel to work in Adastra?
Great! I was so nicely surprised how many positive and sunny people I met here. Smart and great professionals gather at one place, ready to help and support you when you need it. It is fantastic. 😊
You have worked on various projects for clients in different industries. Share with us some of the technologies you have worked with and enjoyed most?
I enjoyed all of them. My first projects were developed in Delphi and .Net.
After joining the Adastra team, I started working with other technologies such as WorkFusion, and then I was involved in a project where I used MS Azure. Now, I am working on a project for one of our largest clients, where we are developing a robotic process automation (RPA) solution, but this time with Automation Anywhere as a technology.
Of course, each has its obstacles and hard times, but in the end, everything falls into place. It is great to see or hear that you have made someone’s life better or easier – that is the beauty of my job and the reason to love it so much.
You mentioned two of the RPA technologies you worked with – WorkFusion and now Automation Anywhere. In general, what is your opinion about RPA solutions? Do you think it is something that will help us change the way we work and live in the future?
Yes, I am happy to say that I had a chance to work with two different RPA technologies. Both provide great RPA, AI and ML capabilities that can be used to automate almost any process. And yes, I think that very soon bots will replace humans completely in the repetitive time-consuming tasks such as checking and forwarding emails, downloading, and editing attachments and so on.
Also, for example, document scanning or printing in the middle of a process will not be needed anymore. After all, bots can work at night even 24/7 to process data. The biggest benefit that I see is the change of people’s focus to more useful tasks that need human decisions.
Have you been thinking about your next professional development step?
Yes, definitely. In general, I want to enhance my expertise and to develop myself in the RPA field.
