This holiday season, we are joining the Christmas campaign once again to support meaningful charities, and this year our teams chose to stand behind Cedar Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young adults in Bulgaria.

Across our three locations, Sofia, Varna, and Plovdiv, Adastra colleagues gathered for a festive Charity Bazaar filled with homemade Christmas cookies, cakes, pastries, handmade greeting cards, toys, and beautiful holiday crafts. From early-morning baking sessions to creative workshops, our people brought not only skill and talent, but also heart. The result was a warm, joyful celebration of kindness and community. All funds collected from the bazaar will be donated to Cedar Foundation to support their essential programs for children and young people in need.

Why we support Cedar Foundation

Founded in 2005, Cedar Foundation is a leading Bulgarian non-profit dedicated to providing high-quality care, support, and opportunities for disadvantaged children and adults, especially those living with disabilities or transitioning out of institutional care.

Their impact is profound:

• 🏠 Family-type care instead of institutions. Cedar manages nine social-service centers, offering a safe, home-like environment with 24/7 individual care and support.
• 💙 Therapeutic care and personal development. Each year, Cedar provides over 11,000 hours of specialized therapy for children and young adults.
• 📚 Mentoring, education, and integration. Programs such as their “Mentoring Program for Children and Youth at Risk” help young people gain confidence, develop life skills, and transition successfully into adulthood.
• 🧡 Advocacy for lasting change. Cedar actively works to transform Bulgaria’s social system, promoting dignity, rights, and equal opportunities for people with disabilities.
